Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>This is a thickness grid of the Onondaga Limestone in eastern Ohio. This dataset was originally created for the Midwestern Regional Carbon Sequestration Partnership 2017 final report (Department of Energy Cooperative Agreement No. DE-FC26-05NT42589). Only eastern Ohio was studied, although the formation does extend beyond the area of interest. This data set contains subsurface information on the Devonian Onondaga Limestone in eastern Ohio compiled from hardcopy and digital public data housed at the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Geological Survey and Division of Oil and Gas Resources Management. Data points were determined by geologist using well logs throughout eastern Ohio in Petra software, and then exported in ArcGIS for contouring. Suspect tops were identified using cluster number. Isopach contours were initially generated using Inverse Distance Weighting available in ArcGIS Geostatistical Analyst. The initial contours were then hand edited to reflect formation thickness distribution patterns. The final set of contours were then regridded to create the final thickness grid.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>This work was funded in part of the Department of Energy Midwestern Regional Carbon Sequestration Partnership (Department of Energy Cooperative Agreement No. DE-FC26-05NT42589), and the Ohio severance taxes.
